How To Use Pocket Refractometer

Step 1: open the cover plate, drop 2-3 drops of distilled water or standard solution on the prism surface, close the cover plate.

step 2: the Pocket Refractometer is placed under the light source to observe through the eyepiece.

Step 3: Take distilled water or standard solution as sample, observe with eyepiece, and adjust the calibration screw until the boundary of blue and white areas coincides with the zero scale line completely.

Step 4: Replace distilled water or calibration solution with the sample solution of the solution to be measured, then repeat the first step, then proceed to the second and third step, read the calibration value of the blue-white boundary, and at this moment the calibration value is the accurate measurement value of the solution concentration of the sample.
